Vitarroz Foods is the second largest supplier and distributor of Hispanic food products in the Northeast United States. Founded in 1955, Vitarroz is best known for three of our more popular products: Vitarroz Malta, Vitarroz Bravo’s Crackers and Vitarroz Jamaican Rice. Our product line includes over 400 branded products including several kinds of rice, beans, pasta, beverages, cookies, crackers, snacks, canned goods, spices, sauces and cooking oils. We also distribute detergents, and health and beauty aids. Products are imported from over fifteen countries including Argentina, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Italy, Spain, Thailand and more.

Vitarroz stocks shelves in nearly 3000 stores that include major national chains such as Wal-Mart, Pathmark, Shop Rite, Rite Aid and Walgreen’s. We personally service our clients with our own “direct store delivery” operations from our facilities in Jersey City, NJ. Stores are supplied through our own Vitarroz sales team and fleet of 27 delivery trucks.

We maintain our strongest appeal within the growing Hispanic community. However, some of our best customers also belong to the African-American and Caribbean communities.
